Our design philosophy centres on the belief that architecture should be a reflection of its owner’s personality. In this case, the client, an individual who thrives on standing out from the crowd, desired a structure that would do the same. This vision led us to explore a bold, diamond-shaped facade, with the client’s office occupying the very pinnacle of this striking design element.
The building’s name, “The Regent,” pays homage to the largest and most flawless diamond ever discovered, reflecting the brilliance and distinctiveness of the facade. Rising on a stilted base, The Regent boasts four floors, with the top floor dedicated to the client’s office and the remaining space available for rent.
The client’s office embodies a sense of grandeur. A double-height space allows for an expansive working environment, with only the MD’s cabin divided into two levels via a private staircase. This commitment to open space fosters a feeling of empowerment and limitless possibility.
The project’s defining feature, the diamond-shaped facade, presented a significant challenge. Translating this innovative design into reality at a height of 40 feet above ground proved to be a complex feat. The intricate angles demanded meticulous planning and execution to ensure a flawless final product.
